As I’m sure many of you may agree, granola is one of the most beautiful treats on the planet.
but very often, many of the granola recipes I stumble upon have pretty expensive ingredients… goji berries, macadamia nuts, matcha tea… no one has a budget for it! (at least not me)
so here it is – my cheap version of the healthiest granola I’ve ever shared before.
and as usual: no oil, no added sugar or syrup, no hanky panky.
all the ingredients I have used are organic. this granola is still only a fraction of the price it would have been if I had bought that readymade in the grocery store.
I’m away with sunflower seeds instead of more expensive nuts and seeds. sunflower seeds are hella cheap, delicious and good for you.
instead of oils or tahini (which I used in my previous granola recipe) I have gone with plain old bananas. Yep, it works beautifully!
