I’m Aja Dang and New Year, new you? I know we’re all in with that weight loss grind in the new year, so here are my 7 * favorite * healthy and light snack recipes to get you past your french fries cravings. Getting your food on the field is No. 1 to lose weight, but some of us (ie me) are unwilling to give up the sweet taste of … well, everything. So here are some guilt-free snacking recipes to help you eat healthier and achieve any weight loss goal / motivation you may have.

APPEL SANDWICH
– apples
– nut butter
– goji berries

AVOCADO SUSHI
– seaweed
– avocado

guac
– avocado
– garlic
– tomatoes
– Red onion
– Lemon
– salt

DIJON VINAIGRETTE
– 1 / 4c + 2 tablespoons oil
– 2 tablespoons white wine vinegar
– 1 (or 2) garlic cloves
– 2 tsp Dijon mustard
– 1/2 teaspoon salt

SWEET RICE CAKE
– rice cake
– nut butter
– fruit
– treasure

SAVORY RICE CAKE
– rice cake
– tomatoes
– cucumber
– avocado
– balsamic vinegar

KALE CHIPS
preheat the oven to 300 degrees
– Kale, rinse and dried. Discarding the big stems
– In a large mixing bowl, sprinkle with oil and your choice of spices.
– Spread the kale over the baking sheet. Spread out (perform two batches if necessary).
– Bake for 15 minutes and then toss slightly to ensure even baking. Bake for 5-10 minutes depending on your level of crispiness.
– Make sure they don’t burn. Nobody likes roasted kale (or maybe you do 🤷‍♀️)
