Vegan Banana Oatmeal Recipe
1/2 cup rolled oats
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup of milk of your choice
1/4 cup of water or extra milk of your choice
1 large very overripe banana, mash
optional 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
optional crushed walnuts, mini chocolate chips, shredded coconut, etc.
choice of sweetener (if necessary – If your banana is sweet enough, it is often not needed)
Combine all ingredients. Boil up. Once cooked, stir occasionally to prevent sticking or boiling. It will eventually get thicker. Serve hot or cool overnight.
