Khichdi 4-way recipe in English:

ingredients:
Rice with potato and spinach:
-Aloo (potato) small cubes ¼ cup
-Palak (spinach) chopped 1 tsp
-Chawal (rice) soaked 2 tbsp
-Pani (water) ¾ cup or as needed
-Oil ½ tsp
-Namak (Salt) 1 knife (optional)

Directions:
-In the pot add potato, spinach, rice, water and oil, mix well and cook it, cover & steam cook until desired consistency (15 minutes).
-Add salt, mix well and mash well or puree using the masher.

ingredients:
Khichdi with chicken & peas:
-Ol 1 tsp
– Known qeema (chicken chops) 2 tbsp
-Pani (water) 1 cup or as needed
-Chawal (rice) soaked 2 tbsp
-Kill (peas) 1 tsp
-Tamatar (tomato) small cubes 1 tbsp
-Namak (Salt) 1 knife (optional)

Directions:
-In the pan add oil, chicken chop and mix well until color changes.
-Add water, rice, peas, tomato and mix well, bring to the boil, cover & steam cook until desired consistency (15 minutes).
-Add salt and mash well or puree using masher.

-Moong daal (yellow lens gram) soaked 1 tbs
-Gajar (carrot) small cubes ¼ cup
-Oil ½ tsp
-Pani (water) 1 cup or as needed
-Namak (Salt) 1 knife (optional)

Directions:
-In the pan add rice, yellow lentil gram, carrot, oil and water, bring to the boil, cover & steam cook until desired consistency (15-20 minutes).

-Add salt and mash well using masher.
– Cover and cook for another 2 minutes, then mash well or puree.
